Plain-language rules for participating in Find Love Safely.
You choose
You decide whether you want to participate. You decide whether you want to talk to or meet a proposed match. You can say no.
A match is an introduction
Find Love Safely may send information about someone. That person may not already know whether they want to meet you. You both get to decide.
Be honest
Use real information and tell us when important information changes.
Respect no and stop
If someone says no, stop, or asks for space, respect it. Do not keep calling, texting, touching, or asking.
Ask before touching
Ask before hugging, kissing, or touching. The other person can always change their mind at any time.
Do not ask for money
Do not ask another Member for money, passwords, bank information, expensive gifts, housing, or account access.
Protect privacy
Do not post, share, screenshot, or send someone else’s photo, phone number, messages, or story without permission.
No bullying or threats
Do not threaten, insult, stalk, bully, discriminate against, or scare another person.
Sexual content
Do not send sexual messages or pictures unless the other adult has expressed clearly that they want them. Never share private pictures.
Use support
Ask a trusted person for help with transportation, technology, money, boundaries, or meeting someone.
Report concerns
Tell a trusted person or email info@findlovesafely.com if someone pressures you, asks for money, scares you, or will not stop.
Emergency
Call 911 if someone is in immediate danger.
